I believe he is referring to Wanderlodge #1 as shown in the photo's in this thread. Previously owned by John Bleakley, it hasn't been seen (to my knowledge) since Mr. Bleakley closed his dealerships.

I believe you’re right about the air conditioners. Pictures of other very early wanderlodges show roof vents where those air conditioners are. I think Wanderlodge #1 would have originally had an air conditioner mounted in the rear cap above the rear window and one mounted in the wall just to the right of the entrance door. I’m also pretty sure that the roof-top condenser shown on Wanderlodge #1 is not original equipment either – I think those came along a few years later. The TV antenna doesn’t look original either. I think the very early Wanderlodge TV antennas looked more like they belonged on a house – sort of a big double flying “V”.

It is interesting that they would have updated it. I'm sure you guys have discussed this before, but was Wanderlodge #1 kept as a show piece from the start or was it later found and restored? I'm interested as to why they would have felt a need to update it. It would be interesting to hear stories from some of the Blue Bird guys as to their experiences with Wanderlodge #1- finding it, restoring it, doing the updates, driving it, etc.
