Looks to me like the sheet metal has been shoved forward into the tag. Makes me think it may have been hit from behind. Probably not to hard of a fix depending on what's behind the sheet metal, in other words bent bracing.....

Markus he said back not in (pay attention ) . Does look like the tag is back further then it should be from the drives. What's it look like on the other side?

Is the bus aired up when the picture was taken? Might be entirely normal but I see what he's talking about.

Might be the sheet metal but it doesn't look like it's bent that much.

Ah, I thought he meant back as in "back from the outer edge", not back compared to the drive axle.

that's my story, and I'm stickin' to it.

Been to the edge, made it back in one piece, never want to go there again. LOL
As for the tire, I'm starting to think it the sheet metal also.
It was aired up and the other side is very close to the same.
I'm gonna run some measurements in the morning.

Sean

Looks like trouble to me,if the metal is shoved that far foward on both sides you should have seriously bent both sides. I don't think it would be possible to do this without destroying the vent over radiator and battery area.
I would have a through inspection of rear/tag suspension components
something is broken/bent not in a good way. This looks like it could be very bad. Neither one of our PT's look like this somethings amiss.
Good luck hope you're not on road you mentioned taking it off trailer
my guestion is did it get dropped off trailer or dragged onto trailer?

From the wrinkle in the sheet metal forward of the battery door, I'd say that coach has been hit from the rear.

The battery door is over the lower awning arm attachment point. No way is that factory.
