Thumbs up Announcements - BB Coachworks

Good evening all: I called Ft. Valley this AM since I was scheduled for service this week. The gentleman that answered the phone advised the plant was closed and there were no employees there. On a positive note, he said CCW was working with its financiers to determine what course BB and CCW would take for the future. He was very upbeat and stated that a favorable resolution should come within two weeks or so. Later in the morning I got an e-mail from Macy that was very positive and reiterated what I was told by the fellow at Ft. Valley.

I believe from the context of Macy's e-mail that a strong emphasis has been placed on the re-opening of the facility at Ft. Valley. CCW's issues IMO are not any different that many businesses all over the country. I have lost in excess of 40% of my retirement funds and like all of you my plans for retirement in two years might have to be reevaluated. The best thing we can do for ourselves and BB is "stay the course" try not to panic and continue to be supportive of CCW and the folks on the bridge. We have the best motorhomes in the world and my 1994 WB is light years ahead of brand new other brands. What we have is CCW's best advertising to allow them to come back strong.

I'm a neophite in this field, but the best thing we all have going is this tight knit community. Lets stay together, be positive and, please everyone let Macy and the folks know we are behind them 100%. Having two facilities on each coast is great, but if I have to drive to Riverside to get work done on my bird, I am willing to do it.

Thanks, Macy! we know y'all are trying and we are behind you.

Default Blue Bird Closed

I got this from a very reliable source. Blue Bird locked its' doors Friday and the bank now has control.

Kenny Rogers and Glenn Rodgers have moved to Coachcraft in Columbus GA.

I talked to Brad MacDonald (owner of Coachcraft) today and he said that they would provide phone tech support at no charge - just ask for Kenny.

These people have done extensive repairs to my coach over the years and I have had no complaints.

Hope this helps.

I have not spoken a word on this issue. I know what it feels like to shut down a business, temporarily or otherwise. That feeling ain't good. I hope Macy succeeds but will let him make the call.
I would be very careful reporting information on a public forum obtained from reliable sources stating the bank has control. If you are incorrect you could have your a$$ in a crack for Slander, Libel or both, resulting in your reliable source and yourself standing in front of a Judge somewhere. That would not be good.
l agree with the comment related to Coachworks. I have had work done there and have zero complaints.

This goes for everybody,

Quoting RELIABLE SOURCES without a name attached to that source may be OK on other forums, but it won't work here on this one. If you don't have a name to publish of the reliable source, don't post the comment here.

Thanks for understanding.

Default Pay For Support

So the plant is closed for now. We all hope and pray it is not for long. Paying for support does not sound so bad now. Its someting to ponder.
