Default 1/2 flooring

Installing 1/2 engineered wood flooring, finished from rear to entry door. Had to stop, bull nose for steps and chase not delivered yet. Ran into one major issue to share for the benefit of the group:

First is of flooring installed.

After a week, I noticed the floor cupping. Water leaking from Thetford even after replacing flange seal.

Ordered a Dometic. It wasn't until I went to install that I noticed the flange is now level with floor!

Upon recommendation from helpful salesmen at CW, bought a 1/2" riser from hardware. CW wanted $70 for a kit, L/HD was $10.

Caulked the riser and screwed through original.

Attached new Dometic, no leaks.

Making sure everything is fitted correctly before building plumbing box and finishing rear wall.

Lesson learned: don't forget to raise the flange when adding height to the floor.

Looks like you bought the Domestic 320?? Floor looks good.

Not sure of the model. Got it off amazon, shipped to the doorstep.

Thanks for the kind words. The floor will look better, after I replace a few boards. Silly rooky mistake.
