Default $5000 remodel for $40

My 84FC35 still has the original living room and it's admittedly really tired looking. We plan on upgrades but are still working more functional improvements first.

However I bought LED lights to help with battery utilization and got "warm white" for the mini-spots over the couch and chair area.

Turned those suckers on last night for the first time and it looked like a $5000 make-over with the "warm" light.

Now if we go to Alaska it's dark all the time, right?

Regards,

Thanks,

Ah, yes--the $40 upgrade. You are still young grasshopper, in time you will learn of the $4000 maintenance upgrade. Darkness is not found only in Alaska!

Default $5000 upgrade

Here's the link to the bulbs

http://www.buylighting.com/SearchRes...Search=led1383

The cool white are slightly blueish. Great map and reading lights.

The warm white are much diffuse and really are warm. Perfect wine sipping and TV watching color.

I tried pictures but they didn't come out well. Digital camera not that good for low warm light.

Regards,

I did not know there were upgrades with only one zero. Even buying stuff under $10.00 still adds up fast. The learning curve is not large so "young grasshopper" will soon be well trained to forget about the $40.00 upgrades. As quoted from someone I do not remember "IF YOU HAVE TO ASK THE PRICE THEN YOU DO NOT NEED IT"
