I love Bluebirds and Cummins 4 strokes, but research the carrying capacity of any 380 carefully before bidding to make sure it works for you.

Concur with Dan. We looked at a later model M-380 when we bought our Bird. Even for two the storage capacity is very limited. It would be fine for weekending and short vacations, but if you have plans for longer term use you're better off getting an LX. Still, that's a great price for such a lightly used coach and I'm sure it will go quickly.

For my purposes, that coach would be perfect. I don't take trips more than a week long since I still work. Someday I might take them - but that's 15-20 years. Plus, we tend to travel fairly light to begin with.

Most of my trips are weekends or long weekends. Plus, when you've been RV-ing in a 1990 Winnebago, moving UP to the CCC of an M380 would be pretty sweet.

Anyone know what the CCC of the 380 is? What are the "as tested" axle weights, full water, full fuel? What are the GAWR's?

Thanks,

Default Weight for M380

David here it is.

Front Axle: 14,600
Rear Axle: 21,500

GCWR: 46,100
GVWR: 36,100
Extimate CCC: 2,089

This is copied from the dealer sales brochure.

I have one but if I didn't I would buy this one. This is an excellent deal unless something is not as it appears.

Whoa Jonathan, now that's service! I think a 2000lb CCC will fit your purposes beautifully.
