Default Microphor toilet M380

On my last trip I noticed water occasionally leaking out from where the toilet meets the floor. My first thought was the foam donut seal was getting old, but my repair people tell me there are a couple of parts leaking that need replacement. They said that they called Mirophor and my model is no longer available and a replacement is $3,000 - they are not even sure it will fit as a remove and replace. They said they can order parts for the current one, but I am weighing the cost of parts and labor vs something new. Have any of you found a good equivalent flush toilet that can easily be swapped in an M380 without a lot of modification? If so what are your recommendations. Thanks

Is it the air or electric toilet?

If it is electric, like mine was, then it should just be a straight drop toilet. If it is, then it is easy to replace with something like a Dometic 320. It is porcelain, comes in white, bone, and maybe other colors. It is a high rise, great for us old geezers and super easy to install. It was a direct fit and replacement for my Microphor.

Then it's a lot easier to repair/overhaul. The air toilet is the nasty one.

Default Microphor anti syphon valve leak

It's likely the anti syphon valve that is leaking. It's easy to remove and take apart clean and apply plumbers grease to the seal.

Just did mine after trying for weeks to find the leak. Finally put some paper towels down and found where the water was coming from which led me to the anti syphon valve.

The microphor service manual has the process for servicing the anti syphon valve.

My toilet has occasionally leaked. I found that the nuts on two bolts that hold the hopper on the bottom of the bowl had loosened. I was able to tighten them to a degree using a very small end wrench. They can be reached through the opening after the lid was removed.

Thankfully, ours came with a straight drop non-electric Dometic SeaLand China bowl toilet similar to this $300 one: https://www.amazon.com/Dometic-30265...ds=sealand+510. However, ours has an integrated hand sprayer attachment which I’d highly recommend. Given a choice, I’d choose this manual drop “KISS” style over the one you have every time. To verify it will work, check behind the mounting panel in your wet bay. On mine the tank top is mounted about 6” below the compartment ceiling. If that is where BB installed the black tank for your air toilet - the straight drop version should fit. It may require some simple PVC fittings and maybe a sealing flange but installation shouldn’t be difficult.
