Considering heading here first of March for a week on our maiden voyage. Any input on the resort? Is it best to make reservations with the office there and any preferences of where to stay within the resort? Thanks for any info.

If you give me your arrival and departure dates I can check with some of the TGO WOG members to see if anyone knows of an available site.

Jan, Feb, March it high season, the park is near full. Difficult to find a site, but a few day may work out, we will ask around..

There may be a site available in the rental pool or the rally lot.

Friday evening, a group of Bird owners and former Bird owners at The Great Outdoors RV Resort (TGO) got together at the Blue Heron Restaurant for an end of the season dinner. (The Blue Heron is a nice restaurant located within the TGO Resort).

About this time every year the resident Blue Birders at TGO start getting restless to head out on new adventures so John Schmieder suggested getting together for drinks and dinner before everyone left for the summer.

As usual, with us Blue Birders, all someone had to do was mention “food” and the party was on.

Patty Pape and Nancy Wyatt took a bunch of pictures – but here are some that might get past the moderators.









It happened to be John Medynski's Birthday so Chef David Miles treated him to a special slice of Birthday cake.



Some of the rest of us ordered cake after we heard how good John's was but ours said "It's Not your Birthday"
