Default Remember to drain your AIR CLEANER daily

I was screwing around with my cruise control last night when I noticed electrical tape stuck on the underside of my air cleaner. Well I can't just leave that alone and picked at it until I got shot in the face with water. What the Frank? It just kept running and running. It was like Forrest Gump running out of there. I had about a half gallon of water in there! I took the filter out and inspected the damage. The water had trashed the filter so I replaced it, but I could see the high water line so this has been happening for a while! The filter wasn't bent out of shape so I wasn't sucking unfiltered air at any point.

So that hole is about 1" round, was there some kind of a duckbill valve or is it just supposed to be open? Leaving it open shouldn't hurt anything me thinks.

You need one of these on there, check specs for proper sizing.

I didn't know this was a thing. Now I have to go look!

How many more things do I not know?!

Thanks Andy.

You shouldn't have to ever check, that drain hole should just be open!

Yeah, shouldn't... My bus certainly has its share of PO installed customizations.

I am sure that someone, someday may say the same thing about me. Ha!
