Default Water Filter 25005

Has anyone found a replacement for the OE fresh water filter? The manual says the number was 25005, but, I can't find anything online.

Do you happen to have the brand and part number?

The canister in the M380 is about as generic as you can get in a 10-inch unit. Probably hundreds of standard ones fit, and you will have a harder time finding one that doesn't fit than one that will.

I chose one that was rated for a low pressure drop, as the pressure isn't wonderful to begin with, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0018N2RMW

Amazon says over 3000 hits for Water Filter 10 inch, although some are too fat. Typical is between 2-1/2 and 2-7/8 inches. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=water+filter+10+inch

I appreciate it, I have zero experience with these filters, common or otherwise. I'll order that one also, for now, since it worked for you.

I used the GE whole house cartridge. Home Depot has different versions to choose from which are all about 9.8" long x 2.7" in diameter: FXWTC has carbon to remove taste and odor and FXWSC to remove sediment.
