Road Trip 2019

We have been getting the LX ready for this years Road Trip for a while and was able to get away yesterday at 1019. First Stop, fuel fill at the Missouri state line. Not a bad price at 2.73 a gallon. 320 bucks later we are back on the road. This has been a bad spring for rain in our area. Lots of it. many of the streams are out of the banks and most lakes are full. I ve watched road closure in our area for a while now and got the first one yesterday afternoon. Us 65 is closed across the Missouri River. This required about a 45 mile detour. No big deal, we're on vacation. Lot of water in that river.

Had a strange thing happen with the Cruise Control. It wanted to "run away". Turnedit off and tried a reset with the same results. Left it off. We stopped at the Iowa welcome center on I 35. Roberta shopped at the Amish Store while I walked the boys. Back on the road, set the Cruise and it worked just as it should for the rest of the trip. Don't know what it is. Hope it isn't mice. made it to Wal Mart south of Des Moines. All in all a pretty good day.

Rick, my BMC cruise control has done that couple of times, years ago, but not lately. Sure don’t know why. Have fun!

A sticky 'Resume' switch can do that!

Thank you for the reply’s. I’ll pull that switch and check it did the same thing today but only twice. Made it to Prior Lake Minnesota. This was the first place Roberta and I came after buying the first Wanderlodge ten years ago.

Stay warm my friend...it's still winter in a bunch of places! We are heading back towards Atlanta and saw SNOW in Colorado!

Beautiful AM here in Prior Lake. Not any luck at the Casino last PM. Roberta won $15.72 after 2 hours or so playing her choice of slots. Got to unhook the toad for her to do some local shopping. No Mall of America this trip thank goodness. I didn't take the time to wash the coach before we left so today it over to the RV wash bay and get er done.

John you know we have the occasional bug to work out.

Kip there is little danger of snow here. Highs today are expected to be in the 80s but anything is possible this far north.
