I've been around here for quite a while... Driven my coach over 200K miles since purchasing 14 years ago. Never once have I heard of anyone blowing an injector on an old Detroit 2-stroke. The best way to lubricate injectors is to push LOTS of diesel through them and use the coach!

We've discussed diesel lubricity, wear comparisons from new additives, and just about every such thing to the point of beating the dead horse.

You'll spend less rebuilding them every 200K miles than you would on snake oil additives. Keep your shekels, buy some fuel and go have a great time!

100% Agree !!! Kinda like taking good motor oil (Shell, Mobil) and dumping some kind of bulls**t additive to it. If it needed it they would have put it in there.

With using ULSD in a two stroke I don't think you need to worry about needing an additive, but in a 4 stroke like the 3208 or S60 I would use a quart of ATF or 15W-40 as an additive. Your bus, your dollars, do what you think is best for you.

Injechtech Diesel, Northwood Iowa is my engine shop. He believes in Stanadyne supplement and so do I. Pays for itself in better mileage and if it improves the life of my fuel system that is a great bonus. Have been using it for about 100 000 miles.
