Default King Cruise

Just starting. Got the Control Unit mounted between the battery box and frame rail. The control cable is attached to the pedal. Still planning the routing of the wiring and where everything goes. Will post more later with more pictures.

Could you scan those directions, to make for a easier to read file and I will add it to the Database?

I installed one in my 83 and loved it. You will really love the ability to control your speed by turning the little knob. enjoy Butch

Rick, thanks for doing the install progress of the King Cruise...and send more pics of your dandy BB shelter. I need to do a shelter for my FC. Is your shelter from a kit or did you design & build from scratch? Nice job.

John, Do you want me to run them thru my copy/fax/scanner and try to make the print larger? Remember I'm just a day or two into knowing how to post pictures. Well really my bride did the posting and I did the cussing.

Butch, I didn't get the kit with the knob. It has two switches like the 90s trucks.

Randy, I'll try and keep it clean.

Dick, I wish I could take credit for design but not. That shed s built by a small company in Mayflower, Ar. In came in pieces. I hired some help and put it up. I didn't have a piece of ground that large that was flat and didn't want to prep it. What I did was shoot the level and take them the measurements. They built the uprights to keep the roof level by making the legs to fit the drop and contour of the ground. Roof panel sheets are continuous 40ft. Room for the bus, tractor and dually.

Rick,

Yes that is what is needed, if you save the scan into a PDF file, that should be all that you need to do, give it a try and then if you want send it to me direct at iamflagman@aol.com and I will add it to the Database and then post the link to it on this thread.

I installed a King Cruise control on a 1982 PT40 several years ago during a major rebuild. I had an initial problem with the control unit and King Control was very helpful on the tech analysis and sent a replacement unit promptly.

I worked great.
