What exactly was the Wanderlodge II and how did it differ from a standard Bird?

Its not a BMC. It was an earlier attempt at a lower budget Wanderlodge. I think they did them for a year (maybe 2) in the early 80's (maybe even late 70's). I want to say 1982 for some reason. They had a few less features. I think the most notable difference is the painted bumper vs a chrome bumper. Someone with more knowledge than me will have to fill in the rest.

I believe they had several fewer features such as lack of awnings and painted vs. chrome bumpers etc.

Just an "FC".. Boy you "SP" Guys... I took a 1-1/2 week long trip in California last year with my good friends Fred and Wendy with their 90SP36. When we'd park to stock up people would walk across the parking lot in a daze saying..."What a beautiful bus!".. They walked right passed the "SP" and looked our our "FC".

You should have seen the look on Wendy's face, it was priceless.. Yes.. it was JUST an "FC"...

I don't think any members here would and that's what makes this site so nice. Besides.. how can you knock a Wanderlodge???

There are things I'm not fond of in many different models, but everyone has an opinion. Plus, I keep reminding myself that my coach is over 32 years old and need to understand what technology was available at that time.

Pound for pound, Bang for buck, you'll never beat a Wanderlodge!
