Default Bmc transfer switch

I have tracked the buzzing to the transfer switch. There is a PD52 installed currently, I don’t mind going back with a new one of the same type but should I upgrade to something else at this time. Thanks.

I would repair the one I had but if you want to eliminate buzzing, you might want to look into a transfer switch that uses DC coils - such as the PD52DCS (if you have room to mount one).

That unit looks nice and will fit. Does anyone have any experience with these? Pros cons etc. before I order one?

I installed a Pd52dcs ats today and it is exactly what the doctor ordered. You can here the contractor engage and that’s all. I can now hear that the freedom 25 hums like a flouresant bulb if you have your ear right next to it. Thanks for the recommendation John.
