Ned,

Since you have already put them together in this thread and you have a good description in the first post, I added this thread to the Database, that saves a lot of time, here is where to find these and the other 91 SP information, let me know if this works OK.

Hi Ned,

Thanks for scanning and uploading these! Lot of work.

I'm looking for the schematic that covers the galley panel above the microwave. I looked through the 12vDC but didn't find it. It has gen start, water pump on/off, and tank monitor. have you seen that?

Thanks, Ken

Hi Ken--

I know the panel you mean, but I'm not sure where to find a wiring diagram of it. Are you troubleshooting a particular component in the panel?

Chris Bleggens uploaded a copy of his 89 SP36 schematics here, they're the most complete set I've seen. Follow this link to Chapter 10 of the Owners Manual.

http://www.wanderlodgeownersgroup.co...SMAN%20CHAP10/

Hope this helps.

Ned,
I'll check Chris's stuff.

The generator switches (all 4) and the aftermarket tank monitor have stopped working after a short trip last week. This happened a month ago that both stopped working after a trip. Then, opening the panel up and moving wires around caused sparking. I found a dangling wire and an empty connector. The connector was not crimped. Hooked them up and both started working.

I haven't found another bad connection yet; hoping for one!

Thanks, Ken

Some of us (Rick included) when joining 2 wires twist the wires together and then use one side of the butt connector to to crimp them.
Someone even makes a crimp connector just for that use,i use them too.
If you use a butt connector like that, one side is always unused,so it can be used twice.

Let me know if you find the system monitor panel wiring diagram. I'll keep looking for it too, I'm pretty sure I've seen it before--could have been a diagram from the holding tank monitor manufacturer .

The components of the system monitor panel do show up in the Harness Wiring diagrams. But it is just the harness, not how to wire it to switches or plugs. If you want to identify a wire by number or color, it can help, take a look at this bottom half of this one for the holding tanks:

diagram name = 3963279-91SP-Harness-Wiring-12VDC-LH-06.pdf

(it is on page http://www.wanderlodgeownersgroup.co...16&postcount=2 )

Another idea: The remote switches all come down to a small cable that enters the 12VDC controls box on the gen. So be sure to check that small cable connection at the DC box on the generator. If it is loose or damaged then the problem will extend to all remotes (Bedroom, monitor panel, front dashboard).

Even if that cable from the remotes is disconnected, the main switch on the gen otter work. So there's a starting place to troubleshoot, if the main switch works and the remotes don't.

Gotcha, I haven't done much with 12v stuff so that's news to me on that technique. Must have just wiggled loose. Now need to find the next one.
