Default Visone RV Salvage parts in KY, good place?

Hi Folks,
My brother with a "sticks and staples" Motorhome, suggested that instead of reupholstering our 87 FC sofa/chair, to replace them with salvage parts from
Visione:
http://rvfurniture.visonerv.com
Thinking of driving the Rv to them in KY, and swap out some unwanted equipment, look for a better inverter, etc. Sound like a good idea?

Just remember, the old stuff from BB was heavy duty, not the cheaper light weight stuff built today.
I would get high quality fabric and have someone re-do the factory stuff.
I think you will be happier in the end...

Thumbs up re-do

Just finished installing my old (redone) drivers , co-pilot, dining bench seats in new white leather and the couch in a heavy duty fabric . The cost was just under $2,600 and the work was completed by a local leather company near me.
I looked into replacing everything with items from a salvage company , but then it`s used and who knows how long it will last .
Like Randy said, BB stuff is heavy duty , not like items built today.

Unless you can get exact replacements, there are propane heaters, chassis heaters, safe, electronic filter- the wheel hump under the couch that you have to contend with

Bontragers and many of the places around Elkhart are surplus stores rather than salvage, meaning there's a lot of new not used stuff there.

I think Bob and Trish Elliott redid most of their interior from one long weekend of shopping.

The main problem (at least for me) with these places is they got what they got until its sold. They can't in most cases order one in just the color or size you need.

I'm lucky because all of this surplus from a major RV manufacturing hub is only an hour from me. I love to go look and never come home empty handed.
Sometimes the "scores" aren't even RV related...
