Default Kohler 12.5 KW generator quit & won't crank to start?

The Perkins 4.108 was running and quit. I have not been able to get it started.
Replaced old battery with new and cleaned all connections to starter. Pushing start switch, nothing!
Please suggest ANY remedies. Thanks in advance. Jim

Why did it quit? Did you try to turn it over by hand? Make sure its not locked up.

Default Kohler 12.5 KW generator

Did you try the reset button. This can trip from no oil pressure or over temp or sometimes it just trips.

Check the fuse in the control box.

Look here for diagrams https://www.wanderlodgeownersgroup.c...ER%20DRAWINGS/

Default Yes, good news,

Thank you for your response. Good news... it started with a screwdriver jumper between solenoid terminals.

I have damaged rocker switches from low voltage old battery (replaced with new this month). Where might I purchase new generator start/run/stop rocker switches?

Thank you in advance for your help. Jim

Default Fuse location in Control Box?

Where would this fuse be located in the control box? And yes, reset button has been pushed in.

Thanks for all the help. Jim

The fuse would be a glass fuse in a holder mounted to the face of the control box. Since you have a reset button the fuse is probably not there. There are many configurations depending on coach year, I was thinking about my '83 FC

Default Fuse Location

Thank you for your response. I will closely examine the face of the control box now. Thank you again, Jim

No luck … no fuse on outside of control box.
