Glad the guy that built my motor already spent all that money. He had the turbo wrapped and all the exhaust leading to it. All that heat I'm certain helps the boost.

UPDATE - I removed the fins on top of the air filter long ago. It's a simple plastic slip on cover that cuts off very easily. It covers about 25% of the air cleaner. I believe it has made a difference but I don't have anything to actually measure that with.
