Not sure what the 'conversion' is other than an update to newer front end...
It's not a schoolie... Cheap enough though $19000 (maybe)???

1988 Bluebird Wanderlodge CONVERSION (A '78 updated to be identical to a 1988 Wanderlodge, made the cover of Bus Conversion Magazine!). Only 65,152 miles on Detroit engine 6V53, Allison Automatic Transmission. Completely remodeled inside and nice paint job outside. Large bedroom across back with Queen size bed (Serta Perfect Sleeper Pillow Top) with nightstands on each side, large vanity/dresser with mirror and lights across back wall, bedroom has tons of custom closets/storage. Beautiful custom oak cabinets throughout coach. Beautiful bath with custom tiled shower and floor. Nearly new Delmonico washer/dryer, GE fridge, Kenmore dish washer, new propane stove/oven, new auto-light hot water heater, new ducted propane furnace, two roof airs with heat strips. New countertops, new house size Thermocast double bowl black sink. All faucets (Moen) and light fixtures updated to brushed satin nickel. New smoke detector/carbon monoxide sensor. It's a "Schoolie". Take a close look at the area above the windshield. See the two round covers where the wig wag lights were. No Goat Rail, or awnings or genny door. Doubt a conversion mag would allow anything other than a conversion to be on it's cover page. The one picture looks very nice.

That's true about the mag not allowing an RV... ok, scratch this one off the list...

Were BB school buses ever 6V53 or any other DD 2-stroke powered? I think I remember seeing a FC WL discussed on the WOG that had a 6V conversion.

Sure would like to see more pics, just to see the work/ love someone put into it. No goat rails, but does have newer-than 1988 double rub rails.

Holy Cow, that bus is nice inside! Thanks for the pics! I wonder if he has all the diagrams for wiring/plumbing? What about the price? I don't think a bank would loan on it would they? Is the bay storage different on a Schoolie - I would think it would have next to none...

Adrain, It would be much easier to put tooth paste back in the tube than it would be to borrow money on this bus.

Just based on the photos, Schoolie or not, it does look pretty nice. If I were looking I think I might at leas check it out if I were reasonably close to it.

This one is located in Thomas, OK last time I had seen a craigslist ad. If someone is truly interested, I could probably find time to go take a look at it. I'm about 30-40 minutes away.
