We decided to do some improvements to our LXi in anticipation of going full timing sometime in the next year or so. After seeing Tim Gunter's work (from RV Interiors and More in Pea Ridge Arkansas) we knew he was the one we wanted to do the work. Here are a few pictures of the project. New carpet in the bedroom. Tim removed all the old carpet and tile in the kitchen and living room area and prepped it for new tile throughout. Tim built a custom buffet base cabinet for us in the kitchen. We also decided we wanted a larger TV up front. Tim used his magic and rebuilt the front overhead compartment as well as moved all the wiring,fuses etc to the area behind the new TV. This will include a new TV sound system. This will be much easier fuse and wiring access. We had a micropher air toilet that has been a headache to say the least. Rick Shawver spent several hours working on this for us to keep it working (Thank you Rick) but it is still an air toilet. We just didn't want to deal with it anymore. Therefore Tim is installing a macerator stool so hopefully no more toilet issues. I will ad more pictures for ya'll to see as the project continues. I also have to thank Randy as well as many of you for helping us as we "wander" through the learning curve of owning a Wanderlodge. I wouldn't want to own anything different.

I know right. We always enjoy seeing ya'll and the boys. Your probably as happy as we are about getting that headache out of there. now we can work on happy memories lol

Making the new panels for the camera system monitor and for the panel that will hold the switches for the ordered MCD windshield shades. I also got all my laser etched placards in. They are great! I'll take pictures when I finish the panels and get them installed. Me, being me, I chose to use power window switches for the MCD shades. Well I needed to order a wiring harness for them because normal spade connectors don't fit in the space. So when those arrive from China, I can wire it up.

Cleaning the awnings today. Hubby cannot believe the wonderful conditions these awnings are in

The engineering of the metal protection where connected to the Chassis is amazing

Our large one has a small area where the awning has come out of the metal channel above the door designed to hold the awning

Anyone had this? How did you get it back in?

My smaller awning underneath the big one did that. You can pull the awning back into the channel but it will most likely go back out. I think wind going down the road pushes it back out. To stop it place a small very short screw on the end of the channel, so it can't "creep" out again.
