Default All Good In the Hood

You guys... it's all back on the driveway. Action Towing has skills.
Only casualty is the waste cap. It was scheduled for replacing anyway.

I made the Towing company's scrapbook! So, not a total waste of a Saturday.

We did that 2 years ago with our Bmc. First outing in the spring. The bus slid off the driveway base and into the yard. As soon as it hit the yard it sunk like a rock. Both me and the dogs thought is was going to roll over! It took a couple hours but I shoveled under the bus and used the jacks and blocking to lift it up and get it out. I hope to never experience that again!

Default Chasing air leaks

Today I finished installation of new Clippard valves for my gray and black dumps as well as a new air pressure gauge. That solved one leak but I ended up underneath and found that both PPV valves leaking profusely.
My local Napa had one in stock. I tightened the four cover screws on the more accessible PPV and it stopped leaking. After an hour of trying to remove the other valve, closest to the frame, I had to retreat after tightening those screws as well. The PPV was too “tall” to unscrew so I’ll get back to it later by lowering that air tank.
Sorry for the lack of photos but believe me that it is an unpleasant and dirty task. I’ll post photos and part numbers in the appropriate thread when I finally replace them both. On the bright side, the suspension has been holding for hours.

Snugged up the water connectors down at the water heater. Discovered that after 27 years some of those fittings had worked loose enough to drip-drip-drip. Tight now, hopefully good for another 27 years. It is really a pain to get a grip on those but the freaky little plastic wrenches worked to grab the knurled connectors pretty well.

Just sharing some pictures of the interior refresh.
We had the sofa recovered, replaced the carpet, replaced the air toilet with a macerator, and I tried to freshen up the leather seats until I can find someplace to recover them.

The sofa was done locally here in Dothan, AL.
The carpets were done by MS RV Solutions in nearby Golden, MS.
The seats and toilet were done in the driveway.

Here are the before and after photos.
