The previous setup had flexible hose only and would cause a ~50% kink over time, heating, cooling, hard bending. Also, new antifreeze.
That bottom hose can be a problem, for sure.
The water heater is bad? already?
It seems like just yesterday you put a new one in at the old RATs rally at Fair harbor,20 years ago?

Exactly, the water heater is about that old so I replaced it before we head south, still a pain in the butt though this time 20 years has brought us Pex and Sharkbite, much easier

Finished the install of the new ONAN/Cummings gas GEN. New pull-out tray & all. It is a tight fit but made it work. I will have pic's soon!

Well!...... I started it!!.....let it air up and then installed the new tire/wheel covers for the winter. Turned on the defrost and cab heat. Let it run for about a half hour till it reached temp. Also ran the genny for about 20 mins to get it to temp. ran the Aquahot and heated up the coach then just sat in it and enjoyed my surroundings. I need to get started on my plans for the winter as well as next season. Got some plans for the toad as we have plans to head out to Moab in the Spring and need to get it better equipped and trail ready. Spring is a long way away! I really do not like winter
