Question Air in fuel lines and fuel leaking onto manifold

**Air in fuel lines and fuel leaking onto manifold ***

My bird would turn over but would not start .....
I got it running today . ( it also has a slow fuel leak , with accumulation on the manifold and ground )

The problem started by taking longer to start and then running on a few cylinders for a few minutes then would hit on 8 but wouldn't idle (with out my foot on the pedal ) until it was warmer 5-7 minutes .

Then it wouldn't start at all ; thought I had bad fuel . I could hear the solenoid clicking open ( btw I think on mine you can deactivate it if it's not getting Power , is that true and is it safe to do? )
Ended up disconnecting the injectors one at a time and they had air in them , so I bleed them - reconnected - pumped the hand pump on the racor- loosened to bleed again -until the air was out of each one . It started immediately .

*Problem is, there is still fuel leaking from somewhere around the bottom of the pump ; I tightened some lines and tried to tighten the bolts at the base I could get to in the back but it is still leaking some where near the bottom of the pump ...?
I assume the air built up over time as the fuel leaked out , is that possible , depending on where the leak is ?
Can the fuel leak from were it mounts to the manifold , I can tell from the diagram ?
Is my next step taking off the radiator so I can see what's going in from the front ?
Thanks !!

Is there a small plastic line running from under your pump to the front of the valve cover and then down toward the ground along with a couple of others like it?

It may have been pulled off. Feel the bottom side of the pump and you should find a small hose barb where the line would have been attached. If that it where the fuel is coming from I'm guessing you have an internal seal leak.

Can you post some pictures of where the fuel is leaking, etc. would help everyone to give you better guidance - probably save you some money as well if you have to take it to shop!

Could it be the throttle shaft seal?

the three small lines are difficult to see, they are toward the front of the engine, one is the T valve to purge the fuel line, one is to detect the fuel leaking under the top cover plate, this can be repaired from the top, the third tube is a front seal leak, and the pump must be removed.
All three tubing lines leak to the ground.

yes among other leak possibilities, usually referred to as "fuel in the valley"
