I need help / information

Got a 1990 SP36
Just got her home
The issues I found so far
Skylight in the front is leaking , bolts on hatch handle are a special type & rusted through
Anybody know is that company still in business ?

Solenoid bad- can jump post & start it
(On these big engines - can you drop solenoid without pulling the starter?)
Got to find right solenoid

Windshield wiper motor shot & missing wiper arm on passenger side ( anybody know where to get these motor & wiper arm??? )

Lastly 2nd a/c. One in bedroom not working
Was going to compare to other identical one

Cane these units still be purchased?

welcome Stan I also have a SP . this site is a great resource . a huge group of talent here who will go all out to help you . some advice do some home work first , most of the common problems have been answered many times and a quick search above will give you what you need . did you get a blue box with the books for operation ? lots of info their too.
my thoughts are don't burn them out will the little stuff and they will be all over the issues like the guy above who is laid up on the road again welcome Matt

Welcome Stan, Sorry your having issues this soon. As far as the skylight leaking, that seems to be common. I don't have one so I can't begin to tell you about the manufacturer. However, those that have had issues, have purchased a clear plastic cover and placed it over the skylight, sealing it with Dicor. Here is what Pete Haggins did for his. As far as the A/C you will have to check to see if you have power to the unit. The dash switch must be on, the thermostat must be set low enough and calling for cooling and of course the breaker in the main breaker box must be on.

I am not sure how you are jumping the solenoid , it may not be bad . are you getting power from the switch to the solenoid in the cranking position ? I have not removed the starter from one of these the solenoid is on the starter to replace it looks like a bench job to me .

It is, and the starter weighs about 80#s. Drop on ones head and dead.
