Default Door Handles for Dometic RM7130

Has anyone replaced a Dometic RM7130 and kept the door handles part # 2931398-02/4? The parts are obsolete and no longer available. Our refrigerator has a new guts and Icemaker so I can keep it going for a long time. Please let me know if you are planning to replace one of these units. You can contact me at lgmwill@juno.com or 310-367-2779

I’ve been looking too, Lucas. That is the part number I have from Dometic owners manual. I don’t know much about it, but someone suggested 3D printer to reproduce them. Is that a practical solution?

Default RM7130 Dometic Door handles.

Since the part is obsolete I have glued a piece of aluminum on the back of the handle to see if it will repair it. I will follow up tomorrow after it sets up for 24hrs and I reinstall it. I don't know about making one with a 3D printer I have never played with that.

Default Frig Door Handles

Brad, I will check that out. It appears the 3D scanning process would be expensive $140 per 30 min. and the average scan time is 2 hours. For now I have reinforced the handle with aluminum angle and strips glued and riveted together and it appears to be strong enough to work.
