Default 16v71 goes boom

As a ferroequinologist myself I don't know if I approve of this or not, but I giggled a few times...

Thats a sad thing to do to a sellable engine, they still use those engines down in Mexico to run water pumps.
pumping water out of the rivers into fields.

He's got another video where he talks about the engine - it has oil filters on it from 2017! The yard that had it said it was seized up, which was obviously not correct.

I was at a car show in Gainesville once and a guy we will call Micky had an old chevy street rod with a 283,he had let the block freeze and crack,so no water in the engine (he trailered the car to the show).

He got good and drunk and decided to uncap the headers and run it until it blew up.
In a walmart parking lot.
He fired it up and tied the throttle open and let it scream.
90 % of the people walked away and drove away.
From a distance i watched it slowly just slow down until the engine seized up.
Dumb.
