Yep,a real live tennis court,i have never seen anybody playing tennis, but it could have happened!
The clubhouse had a full kitchen, and 4 days a week lunch was catered in.
Fried chicken and all the fixins!
They had outdoor kennels too which I don't think were ever used in the bottom level. My mother who used to play tennis regularly back in the 80's might of used those courts in the late 80's. Heck I might of played against her on them but don't remember

Dan, I remember meeting you and your mom and dad there at the nest in 07 when we took possession of our 05. Are they still rving? Can't remember what coach they had but you were going to get it when they upgraded. It was grey, that's all I can remember and they were there for RV work.

We were only at the nest once, in 2008, and despite the zillion pictures I ususally take it looks like this is the only one taken there.

Hi Dan, yes I remember meeting you and Cindy at the Birds Nest. They still have their 2003 LX. My parents had my 87 FC35 from new until 2004 when they bought the LX from Bleakley. I bought the 87 from my parents. If I remember correctly you had a PT before the 450 Lxi? Good to hear from you.

Randy, I think I've met more RVers cat-walking than any other way! Unfortunately, at almost 16, he isn't interested anymore.

We stayed there twice on the way to FL. The first time, it was our first long trip in the bird. Ann met a couple in the clubhouse that told her about losing their brakes coming down into Denver on I 70. It scared her so much I didn't think I was going to get her back in the coach to continue the trip.
She still talks about story. I have no idea who the couple was but it was a story to remember.

And the ants!

I have seen a dog in the dog pens, and someone used to put their dog in the tennis courts.
One Xmas i helped Brenda Rogers set up the xmas tree,a rare quiet night, only Brenda and I were there.

The first time i was ever at the nest i was not towing.
We pulled in at dinner time and got parked.
I went into the club house and there was 4-5 guys sitting at the round table talking,
They told me all about my 84PT40,saying this had been changed etc.
I asked where we could get a bite to eat, within walking distance.
5 sets of keys hit the table!
Take my jeep, take my car etc, etc!
I said "hey guys, you don't even know me''.
The reply was "if you have a Bird, your AOK with us"

I knew right then i was "home".
