Default Bus Nuts

Saw about 20 Bus Nuts in Florida over the weekend.
2 Fexibles, a GM, Several MCI's, One still had the faded Greyhound logo,
The 1947 Flex had a 3208 turbo replacement for the old gas engine claimed 10 mpg

Wondering about Blake & Linda, saw them last year at Flywheelers.
Bus nuts and their buses are getting old, they are having fewer rallies.
But WOG has some youth coming along & we have many great rallies.

I noticed the for sale sign. Wonder how much? That is the type of bus I was looking for when I found my 1978 FC. I could still be tempted. Pretty cool looking rig.

Forgot the picture of the rear, the radiator is high in the rear body, fan is reversed to blow cool air up through the radiator using the body curvature to direct the air.

Default Bus nuts

We were at Catalina RV Park in Desert Hot Springs and a large group of Southwest Bus Nuts came in for their New Years Celebration. There were no older converted buses in their group. I spoke with one off their members and it seems they almost all have upgraded to regular RV's. Most of the buses have been replaced with regular RV's but they are still getting out as a group. The only Blue Bird in the park was our coach.

I always liked the style of the early Flxible buses. I thought I would like one until I saw the inside of one. I discovered they are to small and to narrow for me.
