Probably the best effort on an old Flex, interior was black leather and stainless, couldn't find interior pics to post, but top of the line.

Great stuff, guys! Love those old busses! Rexann and I looked at a conversion of one of the former "Pike's Peak" GM 4106s before we bought our 'Bird. 30 feet, 8v71 and v730. If it had been a little better, inside, we'd have gone for it.

I got hooked on the Bus Nuts website when looking for a coach. There was some awesome stuff there and I inquired about a few that were for sale. Then I found my Bird and WOG and I never went back. But I do love some of the old Flexibles and other coaches that are truly classics.

The owner of that bus is George Showman form Marietta GA. I have seen it as well as several other Flx’s at Loudenville, Ohio. The Flxible owners club holds a rally in Loudenville (home of Flxible) in July of every even numbered year. Like Jim, I started out looking for a vintage bus conversion. Wanted a GM pd4104 for its light weight and good fuel mileage. Ended up with a PT38 with 8v92. Oh well, no regrets though. Still love those vintage buses.

Chris

Oh, and that green and white Visicoach has a factory raised roof. Was originally a Stanley tool display van.
