I need 8 tires uggggg! Pulling the trigger on these tomorrow. Best deal I could find.

Looking at the M170 16 ply. anyone have any opinions?

Problem with them is that when on sale like this, you will most likely get 4 years old rubber that has been sitting on a warehouse shelf and they want them cleared out.



I need 8 shoes on the 88 PT-40 and will not buy from them already old tires. I called and they said it is impossible to guarantee fresh DOT date codes.
Pass....


Before I do that I would consider fresh 315/80R22.5 RoadWarrior 366 , 20 ply and be able to run them at lower 105-110 PSI on steer, 100 on drive and 95 on tag and improve the ride significantly - $350/tire shipped plus $50/tire mount, balance disposal and valves.

Thx Marious. There is enough clearance on the existing rims for these I take it so they will not touch each other? Sounds intriguing.

Well ..I started a tread not too long ago and members here run 315 on 8.25" rims with no issues apparently.
The bus has 315's on it right now in all positions that look good but they are 8-9 yrs old....so I have a 1000 mile drive from Florida to get home...I think they should be changed.

I have not heard of Road Warrior tires. I see on ebay they would be $2800 delivered which is for the 315's vs the same size in Toyo at $4466 out the door but not mounted and balanced. Quite a difference. I read much on the Toyo quality here and not sure how Road Warrior could be so much less and match the quality? I know I won't put that many miles on them however the expected life may be an issue. So you have ran the Road Warrior for 9 years?
