The ones I found were at Cowlaw's. I didn't buy from them but bought new instead. Can't remember what Cowlaw's wanted.

How do these units fasten to the roof? Do you need to do any drilling into the roof?

I've had a ski box that was NOT weather tight. In fact they desinged the ski box with drainage holes in the bottom. Are these storage units dry enough to safely store something?

Phill, I'm sure there are options on attachment but I used 4 large stainless screws and washers. Put a dab of sealant on the bottom of the washer. No leak moisture in the Pod so far. The screws are about 3/4 inch long and just go through the tread plate. The pod has a lip around the lid that fits over the lower 1/2 and a foam seal to keep the rain out.

Crit is right about the added storage. You can drag a huge pile of stuff up there and put it away.

Here is mine. I used BIG washers made up by Rick Gunther in Ohio. mShort sheet metal screws into the diamond plate with silicone sealer along the bottom edges to hold it steady in the wind.
