OK Woody,

E-splane how you ended up with a cummins. How did you know they would bolt up w/tranny or did you replace that too..

Was it off the cuff or did the original motor peter out?

Did you have to find a bell housing?

Motor mounts?

Did you do it yourself?

HP?

To save Woody from doing all of that explaining, you will need sit down and have at least three maybe even four buckets of pop corn on hand to read the whole story from beginning to end of one of the fastest engine / transmission changes in a Wanderlodge known to mankind, check out the 304 posts including detailed pictures at;

Wanderlodge Owners Group > Mechanic's Corner > Engine >SP36 engine change,3208 to 8.3 cummins

Maybe go with the flow and just tow it to where you like to boon dock. So you've got a cabin. or storage? or? Then take about $10,000 and go shopping for a replacement. (or maybe even half that; check http://rv.jaxed.com/cgi-bin/mash.cgi...ye=&submit=+GO+
The replacement might need a few things, but you've already got 'em at the cabin. Done.
