14 pages to change a transmission and it seems we have a long way to go, still. $5 says we will go to 25 pages, any takers? (Sorry, Gardner, just trying to add a little levity to this situation)

Well, it is winter and I am not missing out on any useable coach time. But it looks like I had better drive the heck out of it before the warranty ends next year, in November. (1 year from the install of the first transmission).

Rob, I am checking as we speak, however, this is the third tranny so the records are spotty.

Woody, Randy,
If the fifth shop doesn't want to do it I might ask for the replacement trans and drive down to Randy's to put it in. After you finish yours of course...

Just another entertaining little story.

As I said I drove 90 miles to find out they managed to get the door open. I found the warranty rep and his helper in the coach. The helper was asking where the brake valve was, I pointed it out by his right knee. The helper drove the coach to the Transaxle main building and I followed behind the warranty rep in his pickup. I noticed the helper was weaving quite a bit as he drove on the highway. When we got to the Transaxle building he got out and mentioned that he couldn't figure out how to lock the seat from going sideways. I would have thought when he was backng up or pulling out of the first building he might have stopped and asked? I was right there!

Where do they get these guys from?

Mark,
That is where I think it should be shifting, but I am not having much success with Transaxle getting things adjusted. Tomorrow I will contact the guy in the rebuilding facility and see what he thinks. Since they already have a unit built for my coach I may be beating a dead horse.
Martin seems to be the place to go, if you can get there.

Gardener I know I am beating a dead horse since like someone else said we have covered this more then once , but why are you continuing the dance with Transaxel when you originally took the coach to a certified Allison reman shop and should have gotten a reman Allison tranny with a full warranty? Call the Allison Reman hotline and get them to correct the problem and get the 2 year 75,000 mile warranty . They have got the clout to do it, you dont. They already got your money.

Next thing they will tell you that you caused the problem after you took it from their facility and they need more money to correct it.

Sometimes you just have to back off and let the heavy weights fight it out, in this case its Allison.
