Default S60 DDEC IV Question?

I've been tinkering with the hydraulic fan circuit on my S60 DDEC III to try and improve how thermovalve modulates fan speed. Some of the results I'm getting I did not figure on and have given pause to further tinkering while I hash it out. Right now it doesn't look like I'll be successful though.

But what I would like to know to give me data to help determine my next move, I need from owners who preferably use a Silverleaf monitor or other capable monitor on later year coaches with a S60 DDEC IV engine only. Your coaches having a electro-hydraulic fan speed controller that modulates fan speed based on signal input from the DDEC IV unlike the DDEC III controlled engines.


What is your normal engine coolant, charge air and transmission fluid operating temperatures during the summer?

When you turn on your dash AC, does your fan speed go to high and remain until you turn it off again?

Coolant: 188- 195, Up/ down/up/down, 20 sec modulation
Charge air: don't remember
Trans: 198- 202 steady, very slow modulation depending on speed or load
Dash AC :Yes it turns on.
Opinion: If it works,don't fix it.
