Yes,the S60 does have a coolant filter, its hard to see and you need to wear a rain coat(or a trash bag) to change it.
That reminds me,i need to change mine.
Thats something we need a group buy on,they are not cheap!

On my coach, there's a petcock valve on the bottom of the radiator toward the front of the coach. Just open, drain a little in a Dixie cup and you're ready to test.

I'd take a picture for you, but right now it's 37 degrees and raining in Rawlins, WY.

With a 3208 you are not testing the PH. You are testing for the additive ( SCA). I belive it is Nitrites and Molybdates levels. Sounds like High School Chemistry. There are ways around this if one wants to spend the money for the new OAT antifreezes. Longer life and no regular additives. With an FC the only problem with using these new coolants is getting all the old AF out of the system. Cat has an excellent document on all fluids. I think John has this somewhere. Be very carefull of the type of coolant you use. Normal Prestone is not recommended. It must meet ASTM D4985. Many of the coolants on the shelf do not! Amazingly Wal Mart long life concentrated is cheap and does meet that standard but is not supposed to be used as a long life fluid in a diesel application. Coolants that meet ASTM 6210 do not need any additional additive for the initial fill. Many of the coolants that you see on the shelf Are identical. Old World Industries manufactures a lot of them with different labels

Randy, I agree you need to change your rain coat (trash bag)...a group buy would work for me. Any special brands?

I have a fresh supply of yellow trash bags that have "HAZARDOUS WASTE'' printed on them in big black letters.
