Default 89sp 36 cat 3208at fuel filters ++

Guys:
On my 89 SP36 I currently have a CAT engine filter 1R750 which I determined to be TWO micron. The filter in the Raycor housing is ??, however, I have a NAPA GOLD 3209 spare cartridge with gaskets. I determined that it is 10 micron from the NAPA doc. I also have a spin-on NAPA gold 3352 (6 micron) and a NAPA gold 3528 (2 micron). I was thinking of adding to my fuel filter inventory of spares. Any advice as to brands and microns??
My Onan diesel generator has both a oil and fuel filter and I would like to get a consensus as to which are best/good enuff.

Lastly, any "tricks" that will avoid losing prime during filter changing?
I don't know if there is an electric pump somewhere near the fuel tank.
Does anyone have a picture of that pump in its (undisclosed) location?
Any idea if that fuel pump is "always on" if ignition switch is on??? I've seen terms used such as "Facet" pump which is the brand name of a pump manufacturer.
Thanks in advance!

My Facet pump is located on the right frame rail near the engine fuel filter. Both the 90 and 92 are this way. Both have Prime buttons next to the rear start key. Both pumps are on when the key is on.
