Default S60 power loss

I just got home from our summer trip and I seem to have developed a problem on the last leg. The bus has been running great, but then I heard/felt what sounded like a engine miss when I took off from a complete stop. When I went to the rear and listened, she purred like a kitten.
Then I noticed my fuel milage on my Silverleaf dropped rather suddenly a couple mpg. Then I started to notice that when pulling off from a complete stop it seemed to lag. Not that these are any rockets but there seemed to be no acceleration. My racor gauge shows good. The racor was changed a couple months ago. The secondary filters along with the air filter...which is showing good....in the last year. The boost on my silver leaf shows 0-15 in normal operation, 17-18 from a complete stop and up to almost 25 lbs boost in hard pulling situations. No unusual black smoke from exhaust. Jake, cruise and temps are all normal.
i did a visual check for a loose or torn CAC boot and exhaust, but didn't see anything obvious.
Thoughts?

Default DD Power Loss

Kip-
I would mix up a liquid soap solution in a spray bottle and attempt to locate a air leak- Good Luck

Kip, I would pull the racor lid and see if it is full. If not it can indicate air is getting into the system. Or in Biran S case, the fuel pump was bad.
Checking fuel pressure may be a good place to start.

If the turbo boost pressures were normal?

1-Obtain a new Racor filter element.
2-Inspect the Racor bottom sight bowl for sediment or water.
3-Like Mallie said, pull the Racor lid and see if it is full.
4-Pull the old Racor element out. Inspect for excessive “stuff”.
5-Don't skip this step. Replace both o-rings in the lid. Ensure that they are lightly lubricated (oil, ATF, etc) before installation.
6-Install new Racor element.

After your test drive let us know how it went.

i would think fuel supply or boost - i had a bad boost sensor caused low power had a bad crank /engine sensor -caused like a intermittent miss and a little hard to start
good luck kip hope its a simple fix

Kip did you check engine oil level, just wanting to eliminate internal fuel leak.

I was busy today doing other stuff but did get a chance to check a couple things.
I opened the top of the racor and it was not filled to the top. The bowl seems clear and not leaking. It's been starting fine.
Rick S suggested taking my IR gun and shooting the port temps and they appear to be uniform across the board.
The "miss" to my uninformed ear sounds more like an airleak? under power. At idle, looking at the engine it sounds fine. I think my next check is the cac boots

Hey Kip. I had a broken hose that went from the intake manifold to the compressor and it was causing an air leak noise and a loss of power.

I created a thread about it here... https://www.wanderlodgeownersgroup.c...ad.php?t=27564

Forward to post #7 to see what I found.

It sounds like you're getting decent boost pressure so this might not help but I'll throw it out there anyway for something to check while you're in there looking around.
