Default S60 Temp Switch identification

I replaced my engine coolant thermostats recently and found a NC three wire Kysor temp switch mounted in the thermostat housing in the coolant flow path. I have searched Chassis Wiring Diagram 1729813 (scan 504) and can't find it, although its probably hidden in there somewhere. Anyone know what circuit this switch is in and what it controls?

One way would be to fire it up, warm it up and then disconnect it. The gauge will stop working or it will set a code, or the fan will go high or something. SilverLeaf will display and clear codes.

I think that was the last entry in the Chernobyl maintenance log book...

Just kidding.

If you knew where the sender in question is located, I would pay big money to see you unplug it when hot. Get the video camera running, probably have to edit the audio.
