Post The adventure begins! Just bought a Wanderlodge!

Hello! My name is Bernadette and my husband's name is John. We're new to owning a Wanderlodge (2 days new, in fact). We purchased our 1983 PT40 from Matt in Honesdale, PA on Saturday 10/10. Thanks, Matt!!
Previous owners were Kay Losh and Lance Wilson. New owners: John and Bernadette Verbas

We're planning to do some renovations and we will have questions, questions and more questions! First, can I get a replacement shower curtain with the snaps on the side, lining and those little plastic tabs on top? The curtain is pretty beat, the lining is ripped and it needs to be replaced. Is there a trick to getting the little tabs off the track without breaking any?

I know it sounds like a small thing, but we're going to be doing big and small things, and I hope no question is a stupid question here.

Looking forward to many adventures and good times traveling in "The Lodger!"

Welcome to the group, looks like from your signature you aren't too far from me. Unfortunately I don't know the answer to your shower question but I'm sure someone will be along who does.

Welcome Bernadette and John. I don't know a lot about your issue either, but let me make a suggestion. Take some pics of the curtain and the snaps and tabs you were talking about. I doubt an original type curtain will be available, but you may be able to create a new one with some things available. That is why pics are helpful to give us an idea of what you need and we may be able to come up with a replacement for you.

Thanks for the welcome and suggestions!
Markus, yes, we're about 45 minutes from Phoenixville

I think I'm going to have to figure out a way to get new fabric, a new liner, and use the old shower curtain as a template for the new one. I wish I knew how to sew!!

Welcome. If you have a Ernie E floor you are fortunate indeed. A true master of his craft. AS to the shower curtain look into the boat world. They made many different types of plastic slides for boat curtains. We had 2 different Hatteras boats that had curtains and shower curtains with plastic slides in a track.

Welcome Bernadette and John, This is the place & glad you found us.
Ask any question or start your own thread, or a thread for each new topic, search the database or tack onto any existing thread.
Now get started, this will be a good Bird to renovate, repair or upgrade.
