Has anyone who runs no pumps also drained the chassis heaters and had to refill them? Why would they put them in there if there was no reason for it?

BB had a knack for doing alot of "interesting" things.... like the 10' of 1" heater hose that starts on the street side, goes to the curb side and returns back to the street side. When Curt Sprenger and I replaced our hoses (like you are in the middle of doing now) We eliminated at least 10' of hose.

I've never seen the Groco booster pumps used on the FC chassis, but they don't seem to have a problem with chassis heaters getting warm, do they?

Does an FC have the coolant loop for the water heater, too?

FC's had a Groco pump it would appear.

I had been watching ebay for a year hoping a Brewmatic Bica would show up. One new one sold for like $1000 on there, then today a used one showed up for $25 shipped! Bam! I need to get a carafe for it and tear it all apart and recondition it, but I'm a very happy camper today!

I got a pair of new air box checks, too. The curb side had a weak spring and wasn't sealing up very well, either. That 39MT starter is sure easy to remove

My "new" Brewmatic arrived today and I'm not sure what to make of what I'm seeing. It looks like a split on one end-cap of the reservoir, but it seems like it's glued on the stainless tube with some kind of rubbery sealant and isn't leaking? The stain over the split is clearly from a leaking hose there and not from that split. There is some corrosion around the stuff, but it looks like it's from a slight leak in the hot water outlet or moisture in the air. It has been used with hard water so maybe I can get that cooked out of it. I'll get it hooked up and see if I can spray water all over the kitchen tonight.

And one pic of the completed new WanderPi board. I used the toaster oven and solder stencil this time and I will never hand solder a surface mount board ever again! Too easy!
