Default Floor air horn switch

My floor airhorn button is in need of service/repair, I found it stuck open and not able to build air over 75lbs. I figured it out pretty fast and was able to close the valve with my fingers. The 1980 has a manual floor switch, not electric. Anyone venture into this valve? Anyone bought a new one by any chance? Pic attached

Hi Crit,

I don't recall seeing one of those air horn valves in the Wanderlodge documentation (Hopefully someone else has).

An internet search for "Air Horn Valve" turns up several different types of Air Horn valves, but I didn't see any that looked like yours.

You might be able to make one of those Air Horn Valves work but... it might be easier to just convert to a floor mounted electric horn switch and electric air solenoid like most of the other model year coaches have.

I was poking around Finditparts.com and found some candidates as you guys mentioned. Randy, it's kinda handy in heavy traffic when two hands on the wheel are required so I think I'm going to get a better look at mine and see if I can find a manufacturer name on it.

Crit,it can be handy, and maybe just relocating the switch would help, but it sure will scare you when you hit it by accident!

You know it!! On our maiden voyage home I kept hearing this loud a$$ horn and I would jump and look in my mirrors and was wondering, "What the h**l did I do!!?" Did I mention I didn't see another vehicle close enough to have made that noise and I still didn't get it. Later in the trip the horn not only went off but wouldn't stop!!!! I'm fidgeting around in my seat trying to figure our who I had offended when I moved my left foot it stopped. The light bulb finally came on I looked down and there was that dam button, that the PO had failed to tell me about, or my brain was on overload and I didn't catch it if he said what and where it was. I've got it figured out now.
