Default Headliight Cover Removal

How does that plastic cover for the headlights/bumper come off. I have to get to the back side of the lens to wash them and try to eliminate the yellowing. Headlights are very dim @ night, this should help.

It's probable time for the Head Light Upgrade. Here are some links http://www.wanderlodgeownersgroup.co...ad.php?t=13670

There are 4 nylon pipes with a "T" handle up behind the cover assembly. Unscrew them and the cover will come off. You can then reach in through the hole for the headlight to clean inside, between the outer Lexan and the inner molded plastic piece. IMO, while they are off, remove the outer Lexan and throw it away.

My '99 LXi at 9 years old.
