I think Joe will be able to get me fixed up, but if I ever convert I now know how easy it would be to just replace the electronics with relays. Once you pull the PLCs out, everything is right there to connect up, changing nothing under the bed (except I would still pull the lock), and using the stock controls.

David, please start your own thread and stop stepping on everyone elses thread.
Your thread has nothing to do with the 380 wanderlodge.

New to this site and to Wanderloges. But, I purchased a M380 and was having fits with the rear slide. All indicators were go but the slide would not respond. But then sometimes it would. So I did bypass the computer controls and put a manual switch and relay in and it works great every time. To handle the air problem I added two solenoids one normally open and the other normally closed in the line so when the switch was activated it would close the incoming air and the other would open allowing the bag to deflate.

As you've likely read, out of necessity lots of 380 slide experts here with DonB being the master. On the rear slide I stayed with stock config but upsized the converter, put in a new motor and added a simple on/off inline switch to shut off the converter/control panel when not in use. After over a year, it's worked perfect every time. Only wish the air system on the front slide worked as well.

Congrats on the new bird!

The slide controller can be rebuilt by the company that originally made it. John Martin is the bluebird mechanic at Parliament Coach in Clearwater, FL. He has developed a way to bypass it with a couple relays and switches.

He can be reached at 1-727-420-5846 7am to 3pm.

My solution is a lot more complicated than most, and is documented here: http://www.wanderlodgeownersgroup.co...d.php?p=346986

It resulted in a system that performs just like the factory system, but without the PLCs. Anyone operating it from inside the coach would not know it had been altered, except that there is a power switch on the side of the bed so I can remotely power/unpower it. I left it on the last time we were out for a month with no problem, so powering down is not terribly important.
