Default Cannot get messages via outlook

I'm hoping that some one in our membership can help out here. Steve Quandt sent me this private message below asking for assistance and I am not familiar with Outlook, as a matter of fact I thought that Steve meant Outlook Express which I also only know by its name, and he informed me that he uses just Outlook. Hopefully there is someone out there that can give us some tips on how to do this.

Thanks up front for any help, please direct your response to Steve, but I will take notes for future use.

If the daily digest is working, he should be able to have the messages sent to his email address. Then when he checks his email for messages with outlook, it will pick up the daily messages.

I'm not sure if there is a way to send a message to a forum from an external email account.

Since I only received the forums post by email for a short time but no longer, I may be wrong on this but I believe that unlike the old Yahoo forum you cannot send a response to a message, or create a new thread to the forum directly by email, however I believe that you can click on the link on the email that will take you to the forum and then you can respond or create a new message there.

The way that this forums email system works, if you reply to a message that you receive by email, it actually comes to me since I am listed as the contact us person, then I email you back to inform you that you have to actually post that reply directly on the forum itself. The email portion of this forum is not provided by VBulletin, but is considered an ADD ON feature. We don't plan on changing it, as currently there are no other email ADD ON systems available to us to use to make it work any way else.
