Default Back up camera monitor

Perhaps some of you have noticed this: The LCD monitor for my back up camera presents a good picture, but only if I look at it straight ahead dead on; viewed from the side it is very marginal. The cock pit designers should have angled the monitor so that the driver could view it dead on. Has anyone figured out a way to angle the monitor and still have it look built in?

Thanks,

Dennis

Your situation my be entirely different since you have a newer coach. I replaced the original monitor with a new one which is situated behind a piece of smoked plexi-glass. It would be relatively easy to angle that monitor behind the plexi 10 to 15 degrees so depending on your application would that be an idea?

Default Monitor

Thanks John. I am not sure that solution would work for me because the dash is molded in a way that I would not be able to see the screen and while 10 - 15 degrees is better than nothing I relly need to angle it more.

Best,

Dennis
