Default S-3 switch

I recently purchased a 2001 40' Wanderlodge. As I go through the various systems I am accumulating a number of questions.
First: in the outside drivers side compartment that houses the generator controls are 3 switches. S-1 for the slide in and out / S-2 for start and stop / S-3 says "low A/C no A/C. What exactly does this switch do?
Thanks for your help

It is part of the generator auto-start system. The gennie will start either when your shore AC power is low, or non-existent. There should be a switch on the dash to turn the auto start on or off. I leave mine off.

I leave mine off most of the time unless when I'm boondocking or when I leave my dog inside with ac on because it's hot outside. Just in case the campground I'm in loses power.
You can always override by turning on the genny yourself.

FYI: The AC/DC plugged in nearby senses the low AC voltage
