Default LED replacements for dash gauge lights

I've read through the threads about lighting but didn't see anything about LED replacements for Dash gauge lights. Before I go back into the rats nest of wires in the dash I'd like to have some LED replacements if available. I've cleaned the rheostat but they are very dim. Has anyone tried to find any?

Here is my post from Wanderlodge Owners Group > Mechanic's Corner > Electrical > Dim dash lights

There are all kinds of ideas about using LED's throughout your 'Bird that can be found in this thread Wanderlodge Owners Group > Mechanic's Corner > Electrical > LED Lights and Upgrades (Combined Threads)

I just did the instrument LED upgrade before I left on my trip in July, although I don't do that much night driving when I did though this was a huge improvement over the original lighting.

I also installed the new Generator gauges that I got from Powertech and a Digital CAT Engine Voltmeter, but because of the position of the steering wheel I have to lean to one side or turn my head to see them. I had the same problem with the original gauges. I also have just one EL Inverter for the entire dash and the lower left panel doesn't work, I checked all of the wiring and it looked good, so my guess is there is damage to that area of the dash face.
Here is one of the posts in that thread describing which bulbs to use.

This is the LED strips lights that I had been using that helped too, now I only use the one directly above the dash and it really isn't needed anymore either after upgrading the instrument with LED's.

I have given you some tips here but I also suggest that you thoroughly read through this thread as you will find more information Wanderlodge Owners Group > Mechanic's Corner > Electrical > LED Lights and Upgrades (Combined Threads)

If you haven't already done this I also suggest that you look through my photo descriptive web site found through the link in my signature below. There you will find many ideas that can be used on your 'Bird.

That looks great. Now I just have to figure out how many I need. I don't do much night driving either but when I do I like to see the gauges.

I installed a red LED bulb in both of the forward most OEM small overhead spot lights...use saves night vision...great for dash & maps.
