I was trying to stop an exhaust leak at the cone that allows the gen exhaust to separate when the drawer slides out. Has anyone come up with another way to accomplish a disconnect. It's spring loaded and has slots in the mount for adjustment. But nothing I did would stop the leak. If I'm moving it's no problem. The fumes don't come in. But if I stop and run the gen for the AC's and so on, the fumes build up in the gen compartment and eventually leak inside. NOT good if we fall asleep while it's running. We might not wake up!
In the absence of a different way...when I was a kid and hung out at the local garage, the owner had a cone shaped tool that was hollow on the inside. If he put the cone inside a pipe and tapped on it, it would slightly expand and round out a piece of pipe. And if he put it over the pipe and tapped on it, it would make the end a bit smaller and round it out as well. If I could fine one of those tools, it would probably do the trick.
