Default Microphor toilet electric voltage

Can someone tell me, what the voltage should be of the incoming wire to my 1995 WLWB Microphor LF220 Electric Toilet ? My searching of WOG forum, and my studying of the wiring diagrams i have, are not finding the answer. It looks like it would be a normal household 120 VAC line, but using my multimeter I measure 28.8 volts. I am on shore power at this time but that may not matter, maybe the voltage is DC ? Maybe 28.8 volts is what it should be ? I hope a WOG guru can help me. My flapper motor stopped working, so i purchased replacement parts from Mullaney & Associates and before I replace i am checking what the voltage should be. Thanks for your knowledge share.
Eric

Eric, I don't know the answer to your question, but after 12 years and two expensive rebuilds on my Microphor I swopped it out for a Theford residential height china bowl foot flush which was a fraction of the price and much, much, much better than the Microphor.

DO NOT connect your toilet to 120vac.

Here’s the link to the LF-220 Installation/Service Manual. It’s 12vdc. Page 6 of the manual has wiring diagrams and schematic.

Not sure why you’re getting 28.8v - can’t think of anything on your coach supplying that voltage - should be either 12vdc or 120vac. I’m sure others with that toilet/coach model will speak up.

Thanks Dennis and Jim. My mistake on using my meter , I was on VAC instead of VDC. Measured again using VDC setting i get 13.2V, which I think would be correct. Dummy me. This will be my 1st expensive parts replacement of microphor, if I have trouble again I thank you for the Theford lead which I will research.

We’ve all been there! Learning curve is steep - don’t stop asking questions or running ideas past the team.

Have you checked the fuse and the wiring. I had a loose connection in the back of my toilet that caused the same problem.
